Canlı, bereketli toprak elden etme, su tutma, temiz enerji, doğal yapılar, geri dönüşüm (kompost), gıda ormanı, balkon bahçeciliği örnekleri sunuyoruz.
Kırsaldaki üreticilerle bağlar kuruyoruz: ekokafeye, manav tezgahına, temiz gıda topluluğuna doğal ürünler ulaştırıyorlar. Belli günlerde ekopark meydanında köy pazarları kuruluyor. Ekoparktaki tezgahımızdan doğal ürünler alabilirsiniz. Temiz gıda ağımıza üye olarak her hafta mutfağınıza mevsimsel, doğal gıdalar temiz edebilirsiniz. Aracı olmadığından doğal ürünlere makul fiyatlarla erişebilirsiniz.
Sizler çayınızı, kahvenizi içerken çocuğunuz aktivite alanında toprağa tohum atıyor, sonraki ziyaretlerinizde tohumdan bitkiye ve meyveye dönüşümü takip ediyor, bahçeciliğe ilk adım atıyor. Hareket ediyor, enerji yakıyor.
Okullara, gençlere erişim: ekoparklarda birlikte bahçecilik çalışmaları yürütüyoruz, gençlerin bilgi ve beceri kazanmaları için eğitim, aktiviteler yapıyoruz.

Başarılı bir küçük ekoparkta olması gereken bileşenleri en doğru şekilde nasıl bir araya getirebiliriz sorusuna cevap aradık. Tasarım grubumuz farklı iklim ve coğrafyalara göre kişiselleştirilebilecek ama özünde benzer tasarım ve çalışmalar barındıracak örnek ekopark tasarımları yapıyor.
Kendi öz kaynaklarımızla, işletmesini de kendimizin yapacağı ekoparklar yanında; birey ve kurumlar için de ekopark tasarım, uygulama, danışmanlık hizmetleri sunuyoruz. Örneklerin hızla artması için imkanları geniş tutuyoruz.
Fenerbahçe Park Community Garden is an example of what can be done if desired and how beautifully such projects can develop.
Our work with schools and young people bears new fruits. In 2015, we started establishing permaculture clubs and gardens in 10+ schools in Istanbul. After the students and their teachers established their own gardens, they wanted to develop such useful and social projects and spread them locally. They started joint work with local municipalities. One of the successful ones was the 'Fenerbahçe Park Community Garden Project'.
St. Petersburg, who established his own gardens in his schools and gained experience. Joseph students, under the leadership of geography and permaculture club teacher Şükran Toy, met with Kadıköy Municipality in order to carry out similar studies locally. They explained the community garden concept to the mayor and asked for support to establish such a garden in Kadıköy. The President stated that they could support such a project, but he wanted the project to be carried out entirely with the contribution, effort and coordination of young people.
After the approval of the president, the area that would be suitable for the garden was researched and a land area of approximately one acre within Fenerbahçe Park was selected.
After the area selection, the garden design of this area was made. St. Joseph permaculture club students worked on the design of this garden in line with the sustainable living and gardening education they had previously received.
The components that should be included in the garden have been decided, the plant beds in the garden and access roads have been decided.
In order to avoid mistakes in the design of such studies, a permaculture expert must check the students' designs, make suggestions and guide them.
Digital designs were made to present the students' designs as drawings and visuals to the Kadıköy Municipality Parks and Gardens Directorate.
The garden design was made in Sketchup software and drawings were prepared for the people who will carry out the application.
Actual visualization of the Sketchup model was made with LumenRT software.
After the application was completed, it was shown how the garden would look like.
With LumenRT, sunbathing in different seasons and leaf fall of trees can also be simulated.
The design of the garden was presented to Kadıköy Municipality Parks and Gardens Directorate. After approval was received, the necessary equipment and materials for the installation of the park were procured and the date for the first works was determined.
Students and the Municipality prepared posters to support the establishment of the garden, and everyone who wanted to volunteer was invited.
A significant part of the garden was established and the seed planting and planting were completed with a series of works on some weekends in April and May.
The garden quickly attracted attention locally and in the media. Thanks to the promotions, an increasing number of people began to volunteer in the garden and a volunteer team was formed to ensure the survival of the community garden. (Because it is not possible for the garden to survive only with students - students have lesson, exam and holiday schedules. A local community must be formed to protect the garden so that it can become a community garden.
Children from the nursery located right next to the garden were given a birti bed in the garden. Children plant their own seeds in the soil, follow the development of the plants, and eat their products.
Visits to the garden are also made from schools within the municipal borders. The garden set a good example for other institutions.
The Fenerbahçe Park community garden continues to live and thrive because it has been embraced by the local community. St. Joseph High School, Kadıköy Municipality and the local people have done a great job together. It turned out to be a good example for the creation of similar ones.
