What is Ecopark?
Ecoparks are areas where examples of transformation to sustainable living in harmony with nature are shown, applications and research are carried out, training is given and various activities can be carried out.
Thanks to the location of such ecoparks in every city and town and their spread throughout the country, social transformation can be accelerated and they can perform very critical tasks in this regard.
Goal of Beykoz Municipality
Beykoz Municipality is located in the forest area intersected by the E80 (TEM) highway, where Elmalı Dam Lake is located.

With the Permaturk Foundation, 'Beykoz Gardens Ecopark' is being implemented on an area of approximately 24 decares, including the empty plain area and surrounding unused buildings, right in front of the entrance of the urban forest.

The nature of Beykoz, which has the most green areas/countryside in Istanbul, will be protected.
Natural production will be explained through natural gardening practices and the number of natural producers will increase in rural areas.
Urbanites will meet with natural products.
